Mark "Mad Dog" Brown

Speedcars are the oldest four wheeled category in speedway. Originally called "Midgets" the name was changed to be a little more politically correct. The purest form of speedway in terms if technical specifications, the cars bear no relation to production cars in any way. Chassis, motors and running gear are all specifically and specially made to suit these superfast cars. With nearly 400bhp on tap in a lightweight chassis, Speedcars are wickedly fast and tremendously exciting to watch. We are fortunate to be able to again host the Australian Speedcar Grand Prix, the most important standalone speedcar race in the country and, as usual, it will be a thriller. Mark (ha ha) it down in your diary and don't miss it whatever you do.
